Sports Premium

  • The PE and sport premium funding is for schools to spend on helping pupils be more healthy and active. 
  • Information from the Government about the scheme for schools PE and Sport premium for primary schools
  • The amount of funding a school gets is based on the number of children on role for the January census. Allocations = schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £16000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil. 
  • From 2025, all primary schools are required to complete a digital expenditure reporting return.

Key Stage 2 Swimming data 2024/2024

What percentage of your current Year 6 cohort swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres?

N.B. Even though your pupils may swim in another year, please report on their attainment on leaving primary school at the end of the summer term 2025.

Cross-country championships

27th January, Gang Warily

We are incredibly proud of our squad of 14 runners at this event. They all ran their hardest, supported each other and were respectful and considerate representatives of our school. In races of at least 60 runners, over a long distance, they were highly competitive, giving of their absolute best. We were thrilled to come away with bronze medals for the Year 5 boys’ and Year 6 girls’ teams, as well as an individual bronze medal for Freja in the Year 6 girls’ race. We are also super proud that she has been selected for the next round, to represent the New Forest Schools Sports partnership in the Hampshire championships on 7th March.
