Arnewood Transition Clubs 

We have been asked to share the following message from Louise Beardmore, New Milton Town Council in collaboration with the Arnewood School.

Dear parents/carers,

Our Year 6 Transition Club is a fantastic opportunity for young people to build confidence, make new friends, and take part in fun activities designed to help them feel prepared for the move to secondary school.

Each day will offer a variety of engaging activities, following a timetable similar to the one students will experience in secondary school. Children will have the opportunity to move around the school site, helping them become familiar with finding their way between different areas and building confidence in navigating their new environment.

Members of the Arnewood staff team will be present throughout the programme, giving students the chance to ask questions, get to know some familiar faces, and feel more comfortable about starting secondary school in September.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to book early to avoid disappointment.
