Year 4 Roman Day - Tuesday 17th March

Dear Parents/Carers,

Roman Day

As part of our History Unit on the Romans in Year 4, we have organised a Roman Day on

Tuesday 17th March 2026.

We are inviting the children to dress in ‘Roman Costume’, as we feel this will add to the ‘feel’ of the day! We will be making Roman shields, so if you have any spare cardboard, please send that in with your child between Monday 9th and Friday 13th March.

We would also like to invite you in to have a look around our Roman museum from 2.55 pm until 3.15 pm on 17th March. Work from the children will be on display in the hall.
