Year 3

Friday 22nd May 2020

Hello Year 3,

Can you believe we are at the end of another week of home-learning, and are about to start half term? It was great to see so many of you on Zoom, this week. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication during these lessons.

In spelling, we are looking at rule 22 on Spelling Frame.

  • not
  • knot
  • mail
  • male
  • main
  • mane
  • meet
  • meat
  • medal
  • meddle
  • missed
  • mist

Today, can you carry out a spelling test? Remember to record the progress you have made since your pre-test on Monday.

How did you get on with yesterday’s writing task? Today, can you edit your writing for effect? See the PowerPoint for guidance.

In maths, can you use today to catch up with any missed learning or use the time to access Century and Mymaths?

In PSHE, can you think about what your strengths are as an individual? What makes you a good team player? Visualise the talents you have and how others would value you as part of their team. Use the sheet or design your own using the sentence starters from the balloons. Use this task to realise what an amazing person you really are! (See resources).

Next week is half term, so we will not be posting on the school website or hosting Zoom lessons. We would like you thank you for all your hard work this term. You have been superstars!

Look after yourselves, have a fantastic half term and we are looking forward to seeing you all after the break.

Mrs Sampson has been quite busy over the Easter break. With the help of her family, she has been looking after all the animals on her farm. How many animals can you spot?
